Am 1. und 2. September findet im niederländischen Lierop die letzte der 15 Veranstaltungen der Motocross Weltmeisterschaft 2007 statt.

Neben spannenden Rennen in den Klassen MX1 und MX 2 wird auch der Finale Lauf des Women’s Worlcup ausgetragen. In der MX 2 Klasse steht mit dem Italiener Antoni Cairoli der Weltmeister schon fest. In der MX 1 Klasse kämpfen neben dem Neuseeländer Josh Coppins, dem Belgier Steve Ramon und dem Franzosen Sebastian Pourcel noch 3 Titelanwärter um die höchste Krone des MX Sports.

Der Kurs 'De Herselse Bossen' ist ein schwerer Sandkurs ,den die Fahrer 2 Tage auf’s härteste fordern wird und Kondition und Konzentration ist für sie ein Muss. Ein weiterer Höhepunkt wird eine große Motorshow sein,wo die Hersteller der Zweiradindustrie ihre 2008 Modelle präsentieren werden.
